Many family caregivers in Hong Kong experience long-term physical and emotional stress and are in great need of community support and attention.

The North Kwai Chung district has an ageing population and a large number of elderly residents, creating a strong demand for caregiving services and support.

This carnival aims to provide caregivers with an opportunity to relax and recharge, promote the importance of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, and connect them with local organisations that can provide support. It also seeks to raise awareness among the public and Scout members about caregivers and promote a culture of care and holistic wellbeing.
