MWSC is a partner and Supporting Organisation of the multi-partnership platform (多方協作平台) that supports youths with special educational needs (SEN) in job searching and career development.
The Platform was established under a two-year Memorandum of Understanding among Hong Yip Service Company Limited, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service, Generation Hong Kong and Hong Kong PHAB Association. It pools training, internships and job matching so SEN young people can build skills for roles in property and facilities support, cleaning and security services.
Programmes combine classroom learning with job shadowing, workplace internships and placements. Oi Kwan, GenHK and HKPHAB oversee overall administration. Hong Yip provides industry-specific technical training, curriculum insights, experienced instructors and access to real workplace sites.
Training centres and NGOs that offer vocational training or career advisory services to SEN youths may become Supporting Organisations, with the agreement of all co-operating parties. Supporting Organisations may refer SEN youths, students and graduates to skills-upgrading courses and provide career support during internships and employment.
As a Supporting Organisation, MWSC refers suitable candidates, helps extend the Platform’s reach among SEN young people, and works with partners to strengthen pathways from training to work in the property management industry.
The Platform’s aim is comprehensive, continuous support: skills upgrading, real-world practice and job matching, so SEN youths can take up and sustain employment in property management, cleaning and security services.
